Project Engineer - Land Development

GarzaEMC is a collaborative Team where each of our offices work together. A Professional Engineer (PE) serves as a technical and managerial lead on civil engineering design projects. This role functions as an Assistant Project Manager, responsible for overseeing design execution, coordinating permitting efforts, and supporting project delivery. The Professional Engineer is expected to take ownership of tasks, manage internal coordination, and serve as a secondary point of contact for clients when the Project Manager is unavailable.ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and coordinate the completion of project tasksLead the engineering design of civil/site development projectsPerform technical analyses and calculations in support of design deliverablesManage and oversee the development of construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3DCoordinate and manage permitting processes with local and state regulatory agenciesSupport communication with clients, consultants, and contractorsAssist with project progress tracking, scheduling, and budget monitoringEnsure successful delivery of assigned projects on time and within budgetQualificationsLicensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas (required)Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required)4+ years of experience in site civil and/or land development engineeringStrong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DFamiliarity with supporting software such as GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, and PondPack is a plusWhy Join GarzaEMC?
