Our partners include Johns Manville, USG Securrock, USG Structural Panel, BILCO, Balco, WindSmart, American WeatherStar, and other Premier Manufacturers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Manager located in St Charles, IL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Technical Manager will be responsible for being our technical lead, working with owners, architects, consultants, GC's, Design Build along with our internal team, manufacturing partners, and contractors. Providing education, awareness, and differentiation with clients, ensuring specifications are met, and providing technical support. Day-to-day tasks include project and product education, technical assessments, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with specification and installation standards. The role involves work both on-site and remotely as needed.Must-Have ExperienceStrong commercial roofing product and system knowledge and expertise. Minimum 5 years.Project Management, Technical Assessment, and Troubleshooting skillsExperience in managing technical teams and coordinating with clientsFamiliarity with Commercial Roofing, Vegetative Roof Systems, and Architectural MetalExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamNice-to-Have ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferredIndustry certifications or relevant experience are a plusCompensation$80K/yr - $130K/yr + Bonus, Profit sharingAdditional Job Application TermsThis job is part of LinkedIn's full-service hiring beta program for independent contractor roles.
