We're a lean, high-impact team with a big mission: to prevent brain injuries and save lives.About You:You thrive in fast-moving environments and know how to turn breakthrough technology into mass-produced products. You have a strong attention to detail ensuring our SoftShox technology integrates flawlessly into new products. You keep standards high and know how to manage production and quality. You enjoy working directly with customers and are equally comfortable in a design review or on the factory floor.What You'll Do:Lead Product Launches - Own the process from prototype handoff to scaled production in partner factories. Set up, validate, and optimize manufacturing lines for SoftShox integration. Drive tooling, trials, and production ramp-up until products ship reliably at scale.Integrate Technology into Products - Work with design and R&D teams to make our tech manufacturable without compromising performance. Develop creative assembly solutions for hydraulic, TPU, and textile components. Partner directly with suppliers and factory engineers on materials and processes.Customer Collaboration - Act as the technical point of contact for our brand and OEM partners. Support their engineering and manufacturing teams as they integrate SoftShox into helmets and other protective products. Provide clear communication, troubleshooting, and solutions to ensure customer success.Manage Quality in Region - Lead and support our Asia-based Quality Engineer. Ensure factories hit quality standards, testing protocols, and regulatory requirements. Push continuous improvement on yield, scrap, and product reliability.Factory & Supplier Relationships - Be the go-to technical leader at our factories in Asia. Train factory teams on new processes and build trust with partners. Troubleshoot issues quickly and keep launches on track.Cross-Functional Impact - Collaborate daily with New Product Development, Ops, R&D, and Customer Teams. Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback early to save time and cost. Feed insights from the factory floor and customer needs back into product and technology roadmaps.What You Bring:RequiredBachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar).3+ years relevant manufacturing engineering experience, ideally with consumer products, sporting goods, safety gear, or medical devices.Hands-on experience launching products at contract manufacturers in Asia.Strong track record working with external customers and helping them scale new technology.Proven success scaling production from zero to volume.English fluency Startup mindset: resourceful, hands-on, thrives in ambiguity, gets things done.Passion for the mission of traumatic brain injury preventionPermanent work authorization in the United StatesPreferredFluency in Mandarin or VietnameseKnowledge of polymers, foams, TPU, or liquid/gel assembliesExperience at an early stage hardware company that made products for mass production (>10K units)
