This role requires a high degree of detail orientation, a working knowledge of a variety of gear applicable to Guitar Bar's inventory, and the ability to reorganize priorities quickly and efficiently. We strive for our staff to be representative of a diverse and vibrant community that includes multiple identities, perspectives and influences.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain long-term relationships with clientsDrive sales through expert product knowledge and engagementMaintain high visual merchandising standards and cleanliness of showrooms and shared spacesMeet or exceed individual and team sales goalsSupport inventory management and product organizationHandle point-of-sale processes efficiently and accuratelyGuide customers through the service intake processGuide customers through consignment, trade-in, and purchasing processesQualificationsMinimum 3yrs applicable retail sales experienceVintage gear knowledge that matches Guitar Bar's breadth/depth of inventoryExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and presentationAbility to cultivate and maintain strong client relationshipsFluency with Google sheets and retail POS systemsYou must be able to stand on your feet for an eight hour shift in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
