This translates into active involvement in a variety of activities and organizations, which provide many opportunities for education and growth for our employees.ResponsibilitiesPriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:Manage Civil Infrastructure and Utility Projects related to water and wastewaterLead team to successfully deliver projects.Prepare and review preliminary and final plans and technical specifications, contract documents and estimates, and make recommendations.Responsible for working with the design team for day-to-day decisions on resource allocation, and project budgetsManage the preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications for projects.Supervise and observe the design and ongoing progress of a project.Coordinate with the City, State, and County officials, contractors, and clients.Proficient in CADD / Civil 3D techniques and principles.RequirementsEssential Skills and Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or universityProfessional Engineer (PE) License in NY or NJ requiredMinimum 15 years of water/wastewater engineering experience, ideally including the design and constriction of full (including greenfield) wastewater treatment plantsPipe flow modeling experienceWater treatment plant design experience a plusLift station design experience a plusEntrepreneurial mindsetMulti-taskerAbility to collaborate in a remote/hybrid work environmentGreat communication skillsExcellent team-builder, client cultivator, quality manager, and operational leader
