As a Sales Territory Director, you'll lead growth efforts across a dynamic U.S. territory, focusing on high-demand sectors like higher education, aviation, and government institutions. You'll collaborate with our talented Sales, A&D, and Marketing teams to craft smart, sector-specific strategies that expand reach, deepen client relationships, and drive measurable results.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role requires expertise in exterior facade systems and specification-driven sales. Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting key verticals such as higher education, aviation, and government/institutional buildings to drive lead generation and exceed revenue goals.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to incorporate solar-integrated building envelope solutions into sector-specific projects.Educate stakeholders on the long-term value of sustainable building technologies, including energy savings, operational efficiency, and environmental impact.Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine positioning and strengthen market presence.Deliver customized product presentations that address the unique needs of clients in the education, aviation, and public sectors.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from initial sale through project completion.Prepare detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses to guide strategic decision-making.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and foster new business relationships.Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 7 years of sales experience in building materials, construction, or sustainable technologies, with a strong background in institutional and public sector projects.Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and securing new business in competitive markets.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with architects, contractors, and decision-makers.Strong negotiation and closing abilities.Solid understanding of construction processes and sustainable building practices.Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities.Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary with performance-based commission and bonus structure.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.Clear pathways for career growth and professional development.Supportive, collaborative work environment focused on innovation and sustainability.If you're looking to be part of a team that's driving meaningful change in the built environment, this is a chance to contribute to something with lasting impact!
