Ideal Electrical Supply is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commodity Inside Sales Representative with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environment. This individual will focus on securing competitive pricing from vendors and manufacturers while driving sales of bulk electrical stock and project items "”such as pipe, wire, conduit, fittings, and couplers"” to electrical installing contractors throughout the DMV area.Base Salary: $65,000-$75,000ScheduleIn-person, 8-hour shiftMonday to FridayThe successful candidate will demonstrate deep industry knowledge, a strong network of vendor and contractor relationships, and a consistent ability to meet ambitious sales goals of $4 to $6 million annually.Key ResponsibilitiesPrice Negotiation: Secure competitive cost pricing from vendors and manufacturers to ensure profitability.Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales with electrical installing contractors in the DMV area.Opportunity Identification: Leverage industry expertise to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with vendors, manufacturers, and contractors.Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to optimize order fulfillment, ensure excellent customer service, and achieve company objectives.QualificationsExperience:MUST HAVE 5 VERIFIABLE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THIS SECTOR, SPECIFICALLY IN PIPE, WIRE, COMMODITY, AND BULK MATERIAL SALES TO LOCAL DC/MD CONTRACTORS.
