About Gulf Coast Pavers:Founded in 2003, Gulf Coast Pavers specializes in the design and installation of interlocking pavers, permeable paver systems, roof deck paver systems and retaining walls. The Estimator is a critical position that is key to Gulf Coast Pavers growth and strategic initiatives and is expected to have a significant organizational presence. They are responsible for identifying project opportunities, evaluating bid specifications, generating proposals, delivering them to the customers and following up to secure contracts. They must perform due diligence to ensure all project data is accurate to successfully bid and win projects. Further, they work and develop strong relationships with customers to allow for more accurate bid initiatives and higher win percentages. Gulf Coast Pavers is looking for a Sales Estimator to join our team and play a key role in driving growth across our DFW market.This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the front lines of sales while also having the technical skills to develop accurate estimates that win business. You'll be connecting with customers, negotiating deals, and helping us deliver high-quality paver and retaining wall projects that shape our community.What You'll Do:Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, negotiate, and close new business.Receive, organize, and respond to paver and retaining wall bid requests with accuracy and speed.Manage and prioritize the bidding schedule to stay ahead of deadlines.Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to prepare detailed cost, time, and labor estimates.Collaborate with vendors to source materials and negotiate the best pricing.Prepare and deliver professional proposals and bid packages that stand out.Partner with general contractors, architects, and consultants to clarify scope, schedules, and project requirements.Track sales and estimating activity, reporting on progress weekly and monthly.Participate in strategy sessions to identify ways to increase profitability and efficiency.Support the field team with change order pricing and project data when needed.What We're Looking For:Sales-focused mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills.2+ years of professional experience (construction industry experience is a plus, but not required).Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.Tech-savvy with experience in spreadsheets and databases.Strong analytical, math, and organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable, need to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license (field visits may be required).Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.Why Join Us?At Gulf Coast Pavers, we don't just build projects, we build lasting relationships, a trusted reputation, and a team-driven culture.
