Key Responsibilities:Project Sourcing & EvaluationIdentify and evaluate potential multifamily development opportunities in target markets.Conduct financial modeling, feasibility analyses, and underwriting to support investment decisions.Lead market research to understand demographic trends, supply/demand dynamics, and competitive positioning.Entitlements & ApprovalsManage zoning, entitlement, and permitting processes with municipalities and local agencies.Build and maintain relationships with government officials, consultants, and community stakeholders.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the development process.Design & Construction OversightPartner with architects, engineers, and consultants to direct project design and planning.Oversee general contractors and construction managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specifications.Manage value engineering efforts to maximize efficiency while maintaining design and quality standards.Financial & Investment ManagementDevelop, monitor, and manage project budgets, schedules, and pro formas.Collaborate with capital markets teams on financing strategies, investor reporting, and project capitalization.Provide regular updates to executive leadership and investment partners regarding project status, risks, and performance.Leadership & CollaborationLead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration across acquisitions, construction, property management, and finance.Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the organization.Support long-term strategic planning and pipeline growth initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's degree preferred).5+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, with a focus on multifamily projects.Proven track record of sourcing, entitling, and delivering successful multifamily developments.Strong financial modeling, analytical, and project management skills.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
