Acquisitions & Development Intern - Summer 2026

Position SummaryThe Acquisitions & Development Intern will report to the CEO and assist the Director of Acquisitions. There will be one position in in both of our Minneapolis and Atlanta offices. ResponsibilitiesAssist in underwriting of acquisition and development opportunities for affordable multi-family housingPresent analyses findings to Founding Principal and CEOPrepare external financing requests and applicationsAnalyze existing due diligence materials and summarize opportunities and concernsResearch subject property, surrounding community and competition for trendsCoordinate and complete due diligence items for lenders and investorsAssist in construction and asset management processesBe in person in office everyday when not travellingOccasional travel for site visitsQualificationsPursuing or recent graduate of a four year Bachelor degree in Real Estate, Finance, or AccountingPrevious real estate, finance or accounting experience as intern or entry level positionExperience creating and developing financial underwriting models in excelCuriosity, drive and logic are main personality traitsAnswer the phone when it ringsComfortable discussing issues and questions in person or over the phoneResearches possible solutions prior to asking questionsProactively shares thoughts and ideas to create or improve processesAdvanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Gmail skillsExperience with Monday project management/CRM, task management experience or similar softwareBeing a Green Bay Packer fan is not a firm requirement but it will help with team morale
