Akkodis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a 06-month contract with a client in St. Paul, MN 55117 (Onsite).Title: Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: St. Paul, MN 55117 (Onsite)Duration: 06 months, Contract with possible extensionPay Rate: $48-52/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Shift: Mon - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Description:Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.Duties: Lays out and constructs a variety of prototype tools and fixtures required for development purposes. • Conducts evaluations, tests and analyses related to feasibility and function. • Performs troubleshooting and fault isolation activities on a variety of breadboards and hybrids. • Conducts measurements specified in design verification plans, documents and tabulates results, and provides engineering test reports. • Documents custom tools with specifications, schematics and mechanical layouts to support document control and tool release. • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field.7+ years' experience requiredSkills: Relevant work experience in performing the layout, construction, and evaluation of a variety of prototype Printed Circuit Boards, fixtures and tools.Demonstrated ability to develop new design features as part of existing systems.Documented record of delivering tool engineering information which adds value to managements decision-making process.Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable FDA regulations andCompany operating procedures, processes, policies and tasks. Advanced personal computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, databasemanagement, and specialized applications.Advanced credential or professional certification in a relevant discipline/concentration desired.
