Position Type: ContractClient: Hospital SystemStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: Febraury 2026Job Title: Workstation Upgrade TechnicianOverview:Our Client is undertaking a large-scale project to upgrade its workstation fleet from Windows 10 to Windows 11. With approximately 5,000 desktops and laptops requiring upgrades, this role will be critical in ensuring a smooth transition across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Upgrade and reimage workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using PXE boot deployment via BigFix OS Deployment.Install necessary drivers, applications, and configurations to match users' previous setups.Physically replace older hardware with new equipment as needed.Assist end users with basic computer usage questions, including MS Office, installing printers, and navigating applications.Swap out and configure computer hardware and peripherals.Perform software and driver installations as required.Travel between locations to support upgrade initiatives, primarily at Memorial Hospital (South Bend) and Elkhart General Hospital (Elkhart), with occasional visits to offsite clinics.Follow internal processes and best practices as outlined in provided training.Required Skills & Qualifications:Familiarity with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.Experience providing basic end-user support.Ability to install and configure software and drivers within Windows.Comfort working with and replacing computer hardware and peripherals.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
