The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. Day-to-day tasks will include taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed by the provider. Additional duties include clinical tasks, such as drawing blood and administering injections, as well as administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.QualificationsMedical Assisting skillsKnowledge of Medical TerminologyExperience working in a Medical Office environmentPatient Care abilitiesProficiency in managing Medical RecordsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulationsCertification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited programCurrent CPR certification is an advantage
