Position Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as Senior Key Account Manager in the Department Store and Specialty channels. In this pivotal role, you'll be leading a strategic growth pillar within the company while being instrumental in managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for the Department Store and Specialty divisions, focusing on long-term growth and market expansion. Analyze sales data and market trends to create actionable strategies that drive revenue, enhance market share, and optimize product placement.Team Leadership and Development - Help develop the national standards for Key Account management, including onboarding, SOP development, and best practices. Lead the sales reps within the Specialty division, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback. Foster a high-performing sales culture by encouraging collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team.Relationship Building Build relationships with retail partners. Check in with new accounts regularly to address any questions or issues. Keep clients informed of new products, special deals, and important dates to drive engagement and sales.Market and Sales Activities Maintain an updated list of stores, key contacts, and business opportunities. Travel to industry events and trade shows to represent the brand and build relationships with potential retail partners. Introduce, provide training for, and promote new products to retail partners, ensuring comprehensive product knowledge and buy-in. Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and industry trends. Measure and report on KPIs as established by the VP of Sales, ensuring alignment with sales goals.Documentation and Proposals Prepare and keep updated documents for setting up new accounts, including product info and pictures. Preparing and presenting proposals for new products, ensuring all materials are accurate and persuasive.Performance Tracking Monitor new accounts and report during Sales and Marketing meetings. Track sales and market performance against KPIs set by the VP of Sales, providing data-driven insights to support strategy adjustments.Account Portals and Reporting Keep account portals updated with relevant information for new accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing account management. Pull and review reports from account portals to track account activity, sales performance, and product placement.Sales Forecasting and Budget Management - Collaborate with the finance department and VP of Sales to forecast sales, set revenue targets, and manage sales budgets. Monitor sales performance against forecasts and budgets, making adjustments as needed to meet or exceed revenue goals.Cross-Department Collaboration - Work closely with the marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on product promotions, inventory availability, and marketing campaigns. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure sales efforts are fully supported and aligned with broader business goals.Website and Campaign Support Check products are priced correctly, and displayed well on sales websites and other digital platforms. Help create and roll out sales campaigns in collaboration with the VP of Sales and Marketing team. Assist with the creation and rollout of in-store signage and displays for new products to drive consumer interest and sales.Risk Management - Identify potential risks related to market changes, competitor actions, or supply chain disruptions, and develop contingency plans to minimize impact. Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations, particularly in the international markets, to avoid potential legal or logistical issues.Required Skills/Abilities:Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Excellent verbal and written skills.Ability to maintain confidential information.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
