As a fast-growing small business, we value creativity, ownership, and adaptability "” and we're looking for entrepreneurial team members who want to grow with us and help shape the future of the brand.Role OverviewThe Ecommerce Manager will take ownership of our online retail operations, driving performance across Amazon USA, Amazon Canada, and Shopify. You'll collaborate with 3PL partners, oversee imports/exports, manage freight and drayage logistics, run profitability analysis, and build SOPs and systems that set us up for scale. This is a contract-to-hire role with an initial 3-6 month contract period. If clear success is demonstrated in this role, the position will transition into a full-time role with benefits including healthcare and a 401(k)ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize daily operations for Amazon USA, Amazon Canada, and Shopify channels.Oversee imports/exports including HTS classification, customs compliance, and working with freight forwarders.Coordinate drayage, ocean/air shipments, and organize optimal LTL freight strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.Track and process duty drawbacks, ensuring compliance and capturing savings opportunities.Oversee inventory control and forecasting, SKU database management, and replenishment strategies to stay ahead of demand.Build and maintain scalable systems and SOPs, leveraging project management software such as Notion to organize workflows, processes, and cross-functional collaboration.RequirementsEcommerce Expertise: 3-5 years of experience managing ecommerce operations, with hands-on responsibility for Amazon USA, Amazon Canada, and Shopify accounts, including FBA, product listings, advertising, and promotions.Imports/Exports Knowledge: Strong understanding of international trade, including HTS codes, customs regulations, duty drawback working with freight forwarders, and managing compliance to minimize risk and delays.Logistics Management: Demonstrated ability to coordinate drayage, LTL, and freight shipments, balancing cost, efficiency, and timeliness to support seamless supply chain operations.Inventory Control & Forecasting: Proven experience in inventory forecasting, demand planning, and SKU-level tracking to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, with a focus on seasonal fluctuations.SKU Database Management: Ability to build, maintain, and optimize a robust SKU database, ensuring accurate data across systems and improving reporting, analysis, and decision-making.Systems & Process Building: Experience implementing SOPs, process flows, and project management systems (preferably Notion) to improve visibility, accountability, and scalability in a growing business.Financial & Profitability Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to model costs, margins, and profitability at the SKU and channel level, providing insights that drive smarter strategic decisions.Team Building & Collaboration: Comfortable working in a small-business environment, able to mentor junior staff, foster accountability, and collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional partners.Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility to wear multiple hats, troubleshoot issues quickly, and thrive in a scrappy, high-growth environment where priorities can shift rapidly.Why Join UsClear Growth Path: Contract-to-hire with healthcare and 401(k) benefits upon successful transition to full-time.Direct Impact: Your ideas and execution will directly shape our growth trajectory.Entrepreneurial Spirit: Be part of a lean team where you can innovate and take initiative.Career Growth: As the company scales, you'll have opportunities to expand your role and lead a team.Full Exposure: Gain end-to-end experience in ecommerce "” from logistics and inventory forecasting to financial analysis and systems building.Exciting Products: Join a company that builds high-quality, handcrafted products that customers love and trust.
