The University of Miami Health System, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology is initiating a search for an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. Clinical Duties:Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at Jackson Main, Jackson South and Jackson North Hospitals providing medical care for neonates in these units on a 24 hour 7 days per week rotational scheduleProvide antenatal consultation for high-risk pregnancies, assistance with the care and stabilization of infants in the delivery rooms, providing medical care in the pediatric intermediate unit,Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal special care unitsSome administrative duties within the division and the Newborn Service are also part of the jobActive participation in teaching and educational activities of pediatric residents, neonatal fellows and medical students are also included in this position.Requires development and participation in original research either clinical or translational for which extramural funding should be soughtRequirements:Active Florida Medical LicenseBoard Certified in PediatricsNeonatal Board Eligible or Neonatal Experience Preferred
