One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Maintenance & Facility Technician to join their team!Position: Facility & CNC Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Irvine, CADuration: Contract-to-HireHourly Rate: $32-38/hrWork Schedule:Training Period: First 2 months, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.Regular Shift: 2nd shift, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM.Overtime Opportunity: 2-10 hours/week, some Saturdays.Workdays: Monday - Friday.Required Skills & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining CNC machinery (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak).Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.Comfortable working in industrial and manufacturing environments.Basic computer literacy; experience with CMMS systems is a plus.Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and performing manual tasks safely.Job DescriptionThis role ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, supports operational efficiency, and enhances equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement aligned with client values.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders) and facility equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and chemical energy issues.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability.Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and safety infrastructure.Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for CNC parts, repairs, and upgrades.Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.Keep accurate maintenance records using CMMS or manual logs.Support installation and commissioning of new CNC and auxiliary equipment.Assist with equipment relocation, facility modifications, and layout planning.Respond to emergency maintenance needs and support after-hours operations.Maintain PM documentation in compliance with MDSAP and ISO 13485 standards.Work collaboratively to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
