Unfortunately, there is no single source of truth that patients can understand and trust. The status quo is a government run website which is written in complex medical jargon that is impossible for most people to navigate.At the same time, clinical trials are the bottleneck on medical innovation"”new medicine takes almost 10 years to test, costs >$2B to develop, and over 86% of all clinical trials are delayed because they can't find enough patients. This is one of the biggest problems facing the life science industry.Power is the easiest way for patients to access promising new studies. We help more patients find treatments, and accelerate the discovery of novel medicine as we go.?? The rolePower is reaching the point where our product really works. Given this, we're looking for a high-agency generalist to help us stand up new business functions and identify new ways to grow.If we were to zoom in, you'll likely spend time:Scaling our customer and operations functions. You'll help us grow a world class operations and professional services team to make sure we delight all our customers.Driving the P&L for the business. You'll own our portfolio of customer relationships and delivery.Enabling core GTM initiatives. You'll own strategic projects across pricing, partnerships, and marketing to make sure GTM and operations interface smoothly.This role will be based in our SF office.?? Ideal Qualifications:We don't believe in strict years of experience but our ideal candidate likely has a few years of experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.You've probably spent some time in an analytical professional service environment (banking, consulting) and left for a mid stage startup (seed - series b) because you wanted to get stuff doneAs a result, you're probably fluent in business analytics, financial modeling, and ROI analysis. You're comfortable writing SQL to answer questions you may have.And you've also learned how to duct tape a v1 concept in order to validate an idea (webflow ? typeform ? zapier ? airtable)A background in pharma R&D or clinical research is a plus but we believe this is learnable?? The productPower is the most patient-friendly marketplace resource for clinical trials. We're striving to build a tool that'sComprehensive we make it easy to search across every trial in North America so patients never feel like they have blind spotsSimple we apply a healthy amount of data engineering and empathy to the reams of unstructured medical data on clinical trials to simplify things for patients that are trying to evaluate potential trialsConnected we help patients proactively reach out to the researchers directly and researchers love connecting with motivated patients??
