Clinical Sales Specialist -(East Texas: McKinney, Tyler, Lufkin, Waco, Temple)Location: Field-based (East Texas Region)Reports To: Regional Sales DirectorA leading biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) to join its Rare Disease commercial team. The CSS will play a key role in educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and clinical staff on a rare disease state, approved treatment options, and available patient support services. This is a field-based role requiring a strategic, customer-focused approach to enhance patient outcomes and support commercial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a strategic territory plan aligned with national commercial objectives.Educate targeted healthcare providers (cardiologists, rheumatologists, and other key stakeholders) on the disease state and approved therapies, including efficacy, safety, administration, and access support programs.Provide education on comprehensive patient services, including HUB and Specialty Pharmacy processes.Deliver impactful, compliant engagements through various formats, including in-person and virtual meetings, one-on-one discussions, peer programs, and small group presentations.Achieve territory sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis through effective planning and tactical resource execution.Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal field teams to maximize customer impact.Serve as a trusted and credible resource to HCPs for product-related and therapeutic area information.Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable industry regulations, internal policies, and ethical business standards.Accurately document field activity and manage travel and business expenses within budget guidelines.QualificationsBachelor's degree required.Minimum 5 years of experience in biopharmaceutical sales.Rare disease, specialty therapeutics, and/or cardiology experience strongly preferred.Experience with injectable or reconstitution injectable products is a plus.Demonstrated history of sales performance and territory success.Strategic account management experience is required.Familiarity with Specialty Pharmacy operations, HUB services, and patient access programs.Strong understanding of compliant, ethical sales practices.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Must demonstrate a high level of initiative, passion, and focus on delivering results that improve patient care.Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams in a dynamic environment.Willingness to travel up to 75-80% within the assigned territory.Valid driver's license required.Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus and benefits.
