District Supervisor

Summary:Schedule weekends are a must. Territory covers Putnam County, Dutchess County, Sullivan County, Orange County, Ulster County and Rockland County, NY.This position is responsible for providing leadership, hiring, coaching and training of the Merchandisers. This position is responsible for covering multiple outlets within a designated district within a Retail Sales Area. The District Supervisor will report directly to the District Manager. Success in this role requires collaboration between direct reports, account managers, customers and all cross functional partners within the Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages framework. The District Supervisor will be responsible for attending meetings and market visits with key decision makers in various chains to foster strong relationships within the marketplace.ResponsibilitiesBe committed to a safety culture by following established health and safety policies and procedures.Maintain proper staffing levels to optimize efficiencies and delivering customer service through effective hiring, training, coaching or full, part time and seasonal merchandisers.Foster a fun result driven work environment that achieves results in a safe, professional and ethical environment.Assist District Manager in leading Sales Team to identify opportunities, establish goals and objectives and deliver business plan goalsWork with District Managers and Distribution to develop various schedules that utilize resources that optimize customer service and efficiencies with ability to adjust as necessary.Establish trade routines to lead, teach and coach merchandisers and influence performance of Account Managers to drive RED improvement.Manage within Labor and OPEX budgetQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Excellent communication and people management skills1-3 years' experience in consumer products required.Requires experience managing people/budgets.1+ years supervising distribution/delivery staff.Prior beverage industry experience preferred.Computer and database application skills.Familiarity with DOT regulations is preferred.Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines, pallet jack certification as requiredMust have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.Schedule: Weekends are a must.
