CT Technologist

Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)Shift: Days- Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PMThe CT Technologist performs routine radiographic and interventional radiographic procedures in accordance with the technologist training and license. Prepares and administers oral contrast for patient consumption. Prepares and maintains records and files as required.Performs CT/routine radiographic proceduresParticipates in interventional proceduresPrepares and administers oral contrast media for patient consumptionObserve patients during examinationsProduce radiographs of designated portions of the body in accordance with physician's orderEnsure proper functioning of equipmentClean equipment and make minor adjustments as necessaryExcellent UNION benefitsREQUIRED:Prior experience as a radiological technologist Formal radiological technologic training from an accredited schoolValid NYS Radiological Technologist license, registered through A.R.R.T (CT certification) DOH license injection privileges PREFERRED:Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech
