CAD Designer - Land Development

OverviewSouthland Consulting Engineers has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Civil CAD Designer to join the land development team in our Dallas-based office!ResponsibilitiesModeling: Create and edit alignments, profiles, and pipe networks; experience modeling corridors and surfaces using assemblies and feature lines is a plusPlan Production: Produce complete, city-approved plan sets for commercial, industrial, data center, and residential land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and other applications, following company standardsQuality and Coordination: Coordinate and work with Project Managers and Engineers, perform self-check/QC, track comments, and incorporate redlines to meet regulatory requirements and client expectationsMultitasking: Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and exercise time management skills to balance multiple projects and prioritiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)2+ years of relevant experienceProficient in Autodesk and/or Bentley productsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a collaborative team environment as well as independentlyEntrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to take ownership of their work and contribute to the overall success of the businessApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.SWhy Southland Consulting Engineers?At Southland, we pride ourselves in supporting and rewarding high performing individuals with internal and external professional development opportunities as well as robust financial rewards.
