This role is responsible for overseeing 5 supervisors, 4 dispatchers, and total 170 home delivery drivers. Responsible for operational efficiency, cost control, and a high level of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing the transportation P&L, optimizing routing and service levels, overseeing fleet maintenance and yard operations, and driving performance through key metrics and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires daily engagement with drivers and frontline staff, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and open communication. This is a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where the ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead through change is essential. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who takes full ownership of team results, drives improvement, and is comfortable navigating conflict and coaching conversations to build a strong, high-performing culture.
