Contract as a W2 employee of Talent Groups.Duration: ASAP - February 2026 with possible extensionsHybrid: 3 days a week in downtown ChicagoWe are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant. In this role, you will contribute to organizational design projects, support leadership in key talent initiatives, and help drive the execution of our business strategy through effective structures, processes, and tools. This role requires strong project management, communication, and organizational development expertise, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global, and highly matrixed environment.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in organization design projects, contributing to the development of organizational capabilities, operating models, and structures aligned with business strategy.Lead and support talent selection activities.Partner with leaders and the Organizational Design team to review current structures, identify gaps, and build actionable plans to enable change.Assist with planning and activation for talent notification milestones, working closely with People teams across markets.Prepare executive-level presentations and communication materials.Provide process support and tools for senior leaders managing organizational changes, including offboarding and role transitions.Support managers with project planning, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely execution.Leverage and continuously improve centralized tools and resources used in organization design projects.Stay informed on trends in organization effectiveness; propose innovative designs, tools, and methods to advance the function.QualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's in Organizational Development/Design, Leadership, or related field strongly preferred.Proven experience in organizational development, leadership, or people development; HR Supervisor experience a plus.Prior experience in a large consultancy (strategy, organization, or human capital practices) highly desirable.Experience in large, multi-national corporations with complex, matrixed structures; retail industry experience a plus.Knowledge of organizational design, talent management, compensation, change management, and HR processes.Ability to identify organizational design challenges and recommend effective solutions.Skilled in designing/facilitating senior leader workshops.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including C-suite level communication.High emotional intelligence, political awareness, and adaptability in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex projects and engaging stakeholders at all levels.Understanding of organizational finance, workforce costing, and budgeting processes preferred.Advanced data handling and analysis skills (Excel proficiency required); ability to prepare and present data-driven insights.
