Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Fishkill, NY 12524. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Details:Job Name: Medical AssistantLocation: Fishkill, NY 12524.Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)Payrate: $20-23/hr. on w2 (Pay Rate is based on experience.)Schedule: Mon - Fri 8 am to 5 pm (5 days/wk.) with the occasional Saturdays 9 am to 1 pmTravel: Occasional travel to the Poughkeepsie clinic for coverage needs.Job Responsibilities:Room patients by preparing examination areas, verifying patient information, and ensuring comfort prior to provider evaluation.Return patient phone calls promptly, addressing questions, providing test results as directed, and relaying provider instructions with accuracy and professionalism.Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with providers' schedules to ensure efficient clinic flow.Document patient interactions and appointment details accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support high-quality, coordinated care.
