As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by properly sterilizing and maintaining medical equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare facility.Responsibilities:Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments and equipmentInspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issuesAssemble instrument sets and ensure proper functionalityPrepare and package instruments for sterilizationOperate sterilization equipment following established protocolsMonitor and record sterilization parametersMaintain accurate records of instrument processing activitiesCollaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instrumentsAdhere to infection control policies and proceduresFollow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environmentExperience:Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or in a similar role preferredFamiliarity with medical terminologyProficient in aseptic technique and sterilization methodsUnderstanding of infection control practicesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environmentIf you are detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and are committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, we encourage you to apply for the position of Sterile Processing Technician.
