Contract Specialist

Job Summary:Seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of legal agreements supporting research, development, and supply chain operations. This role provides critical legal support under the supervision of senior attorneys and plays an essential part in advancing organizational goals.Responsibilities:Draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of contracts, including confidentiality, consulting, services, research, materials transfer, clinical study, and vendor agreements.Provide guidance on contract-related issues and assist in resolving legal and business concerns.Identify and communicate contract risks to internal stakeholders for resolution.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address legal questions.Maintain contract records and track agreement status.Support senior attorneys with miscellaneous legal tasks and special projects as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or JD with at least 2 years of contract-related experience.In-house experience (2-3 years) within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or technology sector.Strong understanding of contract management processes and legal risk assessment.Familiarity with the drug development lifecycle and related contractual requirements is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal support tools preferred.
