Bridge Project Manager - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager to join their growing Pennsylvania transportation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects for PennDOT, local municipalities, and county clients across the state, while also collaborating with bridge design experts across the region.The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven project management experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions that support Pennsylvania's communities.Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of bridge design projects, including team management, client communication, and project financial oversightDesign, prepare, and review plans, calculations, and specifications in compliance with PennDOT and AASHTO standardsManage sub-consultants and multidisciplinary internal teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budgetProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staffPrepare proposals, scopes, and budgets; contribute to business development opportunities across the regionMonitor and enforce compliance with quality control standards, safety, and client requirementsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful delivery and relationship growthParticipate in site visits and field inspections as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's in Structures preferred)Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PennsylvaniaMinimum 8 years of bridge engineering experience, including at least 2 years as a Project or Task ManagerStrong knowledge of PennDOT standards, specifications, and design manualsExperience delivering projects for Local Public Agencies (LPA) and/or federally funded programsProficiency with bridge design and analysis software (e.g., LEAP Concrete, MDX, Midas, AASHTOWareWorking knowledge of MicroStation or other CAD platformsExcellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skillsBridge inspection experience (or interest in inspection services) a plusWhy Join This Team:Competitive, market-driven salary with performance reviewsComprehensive health, vision, and dental benefits (starting within 30 days)Company-paid short- and long-term disabilityGenerous Paid Time Off holidays401(k) with employer match and immediate vestingTuition reimbursement and professional development supportA collaborative environment where mentorship and leadership development are encouragedLocation:Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (flexible with client travel and occasional site visits)This is a great opportunity for a bridge engineer who's ready to take on leadership, client management, and growth responsibilities
