Position: Cisco Network Engineer IILocation: Baltimore, MD 21211Contract Length: 6-month contract to hireShift: M-F Core Hours, Full onsite to get ramped up and engrained and then moves to hybrid in-person 1-2 days a week once they are ramped up at about the 6-9 month markMust Haves:At least seven years of experience in Network Engineering with a focus on computer, security, IP telephony, or network trouble resolutionHands-on experience implementing Cisco technologies, including Enterprise Routing and Switching, Wireless, and Network Security.Strong experience working with Cisco 9800 series wireless controllersStrong experience with Cisco 9300/9500 switchesStrong experience with EIGRP routing protocolPlusses:Experience supporting a healthcare environmentCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certificationCisco ISE ExperienceExperience with BGP and/or OSPF Routing protocolsExperience working with FortiNet FortiGate firewallsDay to Day:Insight Global is searching for a Network Engineer for a Healthcare employer in the Baltimore, MD area. This person will administer and install telephony servers and applications, network application servers, network routers and switches, data security, wireless networks and disaster recovery protocol activities. This position autonomously develops and/or assists in developing recommendations for new and/or upgraded hardware/software and/or other Engineer resources needed for efficiency, growth, and control. This position, in collaboration with another Network Engineer II, takes the lead on monitoring and resolving issues as they arise within the data and telephony network. This position will be primarily onsite 5 days a week with the opportunity to move to a hybrid model after the first 6-9 months.Compensation:$45/hr to $55/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
