With a strong backlog of ground-up medical, tenant improvement (TI), commercial, industrial, and manufacturing projects, they're looking to add an experienced Estimator to their preconstruction team.What's on offer: ? Collaborative and supportive team cultureThe role:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ground-up, TI, industrial, and manufacturing projectsDevelop schematic and conceptual estimates to support early-phase project planningReview drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to develop complete scopes of workLead bid processes, including subcontractor outreach, scope reviews, and levelingConduct vendor and subcontractor outreach to ensure comprehensive bids and accurate pricingCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients during preconstruction to identify value engineering opportunitiesPrepare and present cost models, budgets, and final GMP proposalsTrack market trends, material pricing, and labour availability to keep estimates competitive and accurateEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and contractual requirementsWhat you'll need:5+ years of estimating experience in commercial and industrial constructionProven background with industrial/manufacturing facilities, medical projects, and TI workExperience preparing schematic and conceptual estimatesProficiency in estimating software (Sage, OST, or similar) and Microsoft OfficeStrong ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and technical documentsExcellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including vendors and subcontractorsThis role is based in Louisville, KY (not remote) and offers long-term stability with a well-respected GC.
