(FLEX between 6am-5pm)Job DescriptionAdminister radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols and physician orders.Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures are in place.Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations as needed.Educate patients about the treatment process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.Monitor patients during therapy sessions for any adverse reactions or complications.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologies.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field is preferred.Certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program.ARRT2 years' experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plusWill be paired with an experienced Rad Tech and training on 1 machineBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Philadelphia, PA 19128 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:Philadelphia, PA 19128: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
