Brand Ambassador

LocationAlbany, New York (and surrounding areas)Employment Type: Full-TimeCompensation$16-$22/hr DOEWe are currently looking for an outgoing and sociable Brand Ambassador to represent our company. You will be the face of the brand and work closely with our marketing team to successfully represent our products. This role requires great communication and networking skills. Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of the cannabis industry. If you are motivated, have a love for sales, and enjoy connecting with other people, this is the position for you!Applicants must have a valid 21+ ID, valid drivers license and your own car to commute regularly. Applicants do not have to be located in Buffalo specifically but must be close to the surrounding area.NOTE: This position will require knowledge of social media practices.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Understand business and goal driven prioritiesEducate consumers and bud tenders on the productsEngage and educate consumers via product sampling demos at designated retail accountsCreate respectful relationships with buyers, managers, budtenders, customers, the community, etcCoordinate, setup, and break-down representation at dispensary pop-up events and cannabis industry eventsHave a good understanding of our products and brandsHelp prepare for involvement in community organizations and eventsGoing above and beyond and capable of wearing multiple hatsFlexible and open to working a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidaysUtilize social media to engage consumersDrive/travel throughout the assigned territoryInterpersonal Skills:Have strong communication & time management skillsTeam-playerExcellent verbal and written communicationPositive attitudeBe willing to connect with othersMaintaining a positive image of the brand at all timesGoal-driven with a focus on ROIHave a solid work ethic & professional demeanorEducation and Experience:HS GraduateCollege degree or equivalent work experiencePrior experience in a similar positionCannabis knowledge and experience preferredUnderstands the culture of legalized cannabis and CBD marketsPhysical Requirements:Applicants must be 21 years of age or olderClear speech and hearing to communicateAble to drive up to 6 hours a dayValid driver's license and insuranceClear DMV recordAble to lift and carry up to 30lbsAble to meet physical requirements inherent to the essential functions of the position
