Help us build the future"”one project at a time.Position OverviewAs a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our projects. You'll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring that every bid reflects our commitment to excellence and value.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projectsReview project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials requiredCollaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposesAnalyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive project estimatesIdentify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimating processPrepare and submit bids to clients in a timely mannerNegotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bidsMonitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost-control recommendationsMaintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferredProven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role, with increasing responsibility within the roleStrong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniquesProficient in using estimating software such as HeavyBid or BluebeamExcellent mathematical and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesIf you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in construction estimating, we want to hear from you!
