Development Associate

About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Associate to join our growing real estate development team in Nashville, TN, with a specialized focus on Medical Office properties. This role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience in real estate development, healthcare real estate, or related fields who are looking to deepen their expertise in the medical office sector.Key Responsibilities:Support the end-to-end development process for medical office projects, including site selection, due diligence, entitlement, design, construction, and delivery.Assist in market research and site feasibility analysis to identify strategic development opportunities.Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.Prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and development pro formas.Participate in lease negotiations and tenant coordination for healthcare providers and medical groups.Monitor regulatory and zoning requirements specific to healthcare and medical office developments.Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders and capital partners.Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in real estate development, preferably with exposure to medical office or healthcare-related projects.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Familiarity with Nashville's real estate market and healthcare landscape is a plus.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Experience working with healthcare systems, physician groups, or medical tenants.Knowledge of entitlement processes and healthcare-specific building codes.Exposure to real estate investment analysis and capital markets.
