General Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to join our team and provide leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout Ohio. This role will oversee approximately 6-8 Superintendents and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and with the highest standards of quality.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of six+ superintendents across multiple active job sites.Provide oversight, guidance, and accountability for field operations from preconstruction through closeout.Coordinate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and trade partners to ensure successful execution.Enforce safety, quality, and schedule standards across all projects.Travel throughout Ohio to support and evaluate projects (residency in Central Ohio required).Resolve field challenges quickly and collaboratively, ensuring minimal disruption to schedule and budget.Report regularly to executive leadership on project performance and superintendent development.Qualifications10+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years in a senior field leadership roleProven track record overseeing multiple Superintendents and large, complex projects.Experience in Commercial, Municipal, Justice, K-12, or Healthcare construction projects from $20M+Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Experienced in the use of Procore.Ability to travel throughout Ohio as required.OSHA 30 and relevant safety certifications preferred.Why Join Us?Opportunity to lead high-profile projects across the state.Collaborative, growth-focused culture.Competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement, paid health care, profit sharing, 7.5% retirement match, and more.Be part of a company building meaningful facilities that strengthen our communities.Location: Candidate must reside in Central Ohio with ability to travel statewide.
