Company DescriptionEddie Marine, Inc. has been proudly manufacturing quality billet aluminum aftermarket hardware and accessories for boats in Southern California since 1993.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site position for phone and in-person sales Monday through Friday with periodic special event hours. Strong candidates will have knowledge of automotive and marine hardware and accessories. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with boat and car restoration giving them an edge on technical aspects of product application for technical support questions. Our sales positions are involved with retail and wholesale customers and accurate data entry will be required to ensure customer orders are processed correctly. Daily tasks of responding to customer requests in person, on the phone and via email require staff who can keep to company policy, communicate well with co-workers and customers while ensuring they move through responsibilities in a timely manner. This position will be best suited to individuals who have a mechanical aptitude that can be conveyed to customers, ensuring they are sold the correct product for their vehicle and/or boat.QualificationsRecommended 1+ years of experience in salesStrong professional email, phone and in person communication skillsExcellent data entry skillsRecommended 3+ years of experience in customer serviceRequires knowledge of automotive and marine hardware and accessoriesAttention to detail and sound organizationAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skills for self sufficiency when working independentlyPrevious experience in the marine and/or automotive industry preferredFamiliarity with car and/or boat restoration preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent is required
