Senior Construction Project Manager (SPM) - $198,000 to $236,000- Long Beach, CA 90804The RolePMCS Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (SPM) to provide leadership and oversight on major construction programs. This role offers the opportunity to resolve complex challenges, manage multiple projects, and help shape the future of educational infrastructure.As a Senior Project Manager at PMCS Group, you will oversee project teams and provide functional direction across multiple construction projects. You'll ensure program goals are achieved, budgets and schedules are maintained, and quality standards are consistently met. This role also requires working closely with district leadership, contractors, architects, and consultants to coordinate large-scale efforts and resolve issues.Key Responsibilities:Manage and provide oversight to Owner's Authorized Representatives (OARs)Resolve complex construction issues, disputes, and disagreementsMonitor overall project progress against construction schedulesReview and assess change orders and their impact on the DistrictAssist with bid and contract planning and specification assessmentsTrack construction database variances for scheduling and cost controlOversee fiscal management, including applications for paymentProvide direction in scheduling, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality controlMonitor administration of contracts for architects and consultantsCoordinate program activities with multiple District branches and departmentsDevelop and recommend internal policies and proceduresPerform additional related duties as requiredAbout Our CompanyPMCS Group, Inc. is a construction and project management firm with over 70 years of combined industry experience.
