OverviewA general contractor & construction management company based in Englewood, Colorado is looking for a construction superintendent to join their team. The Project Superintendent's responsibility is to supervise the field construction of a project and to complete the work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified. The Project Superintendent will be on-site full time and responsible for all field activities.Responsibilities & Tasks:SafetyPartner with the Safety/Environmental Director to maintain high level of safety compliance on all projects by performing regular and consistent safety auditsConduct weekly safety meetings on hands inclusive of all onsite personnelQualityDeveloping site specific quality program and ensuring the completion of projects meeting the highest quality standards for our customersProvide guidelines to our employees about our quality policies, standards and proceduresHold subcontractors and vendors to standard of excellenceSchedulingResponsible for developing and maintaining all project scheduling including initial project review, weekly schedule updates, and identifying and tracking any delaysDetermine the most efficient sequencing of work activities and manage subcontractors to follow the master schedule and proper sequencingStorm waterPerform regular on-time stormwater audits and post-storm auditsProactively manage project's pollution sources and storm water programJobsite ManagementManage all subcontractors for full compliance with specifications and drawingsComplete close-out and all building commissioning.Ensure all inspections are completed in accordance with project schedule and local jurisdictions and following up with any discrepanciesProvide accurate monthly equipment and labor projectionsConducting preconstruction and subcontractor meetings, being actively engaged in all owner/architect meetingsComplete thorough and factual daily logs that clearly describe the activities of the daySubmit timesheets, expense reports, receipts and other project reports weekly for processingTreat client, representatives, and design professionals with respect and professionalismMust haves:4+ years of commercial superintendent experienceProven ability to effectively and successfully manage projects of $20 million and higherMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, and Microsoft projectKnowledge of local storm water requirements and regulationsCurrent drivers license and clean driving recordPlussesOSHA 30 CertificationWhat you'll get from the company:Paid time off including holidays, vacation, and sick time upon hire100% company paid medical/vision/dental premiums for employees and shared costs for dependent and family coverageFlexible Spending Account (FSA) options for pre-tax employee allocations for medical expenses and dependent careCompany-paid Life Insurance and Short Term Disability as well as additional Life Insurance and Long Term Disability policies401k (pre-tax and Roth) with company match up to 4% and no vesting requirementsHolistic wellness programs for a happy, healthy life which also includes company provided Fitbits and an on-site gymEmployee assistance program for legal, financial, and emotional resourcesA fun, friendly and healthy culture - FP has been awarded one of Colorado's Top Workplaces by the Denver Post and has been named one of the top 25 healthiest places to work in the Denver area several years in a rowBonus programCompany Vehicle and gas card
