Construction Assistant Estimator - Entry LevelLocation: Dallas, TXOverview:A reputable Dallas-based construction firm, led by an experienced management team, is seeking an Assistant Estimator for its estimating department. This entry-level position supports project estimators in compiling and analyzing cost data and organizing project documentation. Ideal candidates have direct construction experience and basic exposure to estimating, and are ready to build foundational skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist estimators with compiling, verifying, and entering project data for bids and budgets.Conduct basic quantity takeoffs and help with material, labor, and subcontractor pricing.Organize and maintain project drawings, specifications, and bid documentation.Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to request and follow up on quotes.Maintain organized records for all bid submissions, cost tracking, and project files.Utilize estimating and project management software for data entry and reporting.Collaborate with the Tri-Arc project team to ensure seamless handoff from estimating to construction.QualificationsEntry-level to 2 years of direct construction experience (field or office) and exposure to construction estimating.Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and estimating software preferred.Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced team environment.Bachelor's degree preferred, but hands-on industry experience valued equally.Salary$50,000 - $70,000 annually, DOE.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
