About the Role:The Assistant Superintendent will assist in leading and managing field teams while overseeing day-to-day site operations. The role includes maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating subcontractors and materials, supporting inspections, collaborating with the project management team, and upholding company guidelines and jobsite orderliness.Responsibilities:Assist with managing field operations and supporting the site teamEnforce safety, cleanliness, and quality standardsCoordinate subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveriesCommunicate delivery needs to the superintendent and project teamReview project documents to anticipate RFIs and coordination needsAssist with daily, progress, and compliance reportingDocument subcontractor issues and performanceSupport project planning and scheduling updatesReview approved submittals and verify installed work aligns with specificationsContribute to closeout and owner turnoverPerform rough carpentry tasks when needed, including layout, blocking, minor demolition, and basic formworkPromote safety as a core principle and raise concerns as neededQualifications:Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience2+ years of ground-up commercial or multifamily construction background preferredOSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first yearStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with construction software
