Construction Project Superintendent -Industrial (33570)

An international general contractor in Columbus, OH is currently looking for a Construction Project Superintendent to join their project in the area. They specialize in building industrial construction such as factories and plants. They work with the automotive parts manufacturers and help them with the whole construction of various projects. This is a full-time and direct-hire role.Construction project Superintendent -Industrial Responsibilities:Oversee and supervises the daily construction activities to make sure the completion of the projectsWork with and direct all the field workers (contractors, suppliers, and vendors, etc.)Maintain the project schedules and solve issues and problems as neededMake sure that all the safety policy and contract conditions are adhered through trainings and meetingsOrder materials and coordinate inspections as neededAssist the Project Manager with all the necessary dutyPrepare and keep documents and logsOther duties as assignedConstruction Project Superintendent -Industrial Requirements:5 years of experience in general contracting and project management in construction industryExperience in industrial construction is a plusFamiliarity with standard concepts and practices in the construction fieldGood communication skill (verbally and written)Good organizational skillTechnical knowledge related to the construction field activitiesWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
