Patients appreciate the friendly staff, personalized attention, and efficient service that make their visits comfortable and convenient.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant located in Belleville, IL. The Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, assisting with medical procedures, taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients. Additional duties include assisting in routine administrative and clinical tasks to support the medical team, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during diagnostic and clinical procedures.QualificationsProficiency in taking vital signs and documenting patient information accuratelyAbility to assist with medical procedures and provide basic patient careExperience in preparing patients for examinations and assisting during diagnostic proceduresStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyCollect and process drug and alcohol screenings following chain-of-custody protocols.Perform EKGspulmonary function tests (PFTs), and audiogramsSupport weight loss management programs, including administering injections and tracking progress.Assist providers in completing DOT physicals and preparing DOT certificatesObtain medical histories, and update electronic health records.Provide direct patient care support, including rooming patients and preparing for exams.Maintain exam rooms, testing equipment, and supplies in a clean and functional condition.Perform clerical duties such as scheduling, documentation, and patient communication.Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety guidelines at all times.Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth workflow and quality care.
