Maintenance Planner

Mechanical/ TAR PlannerSkills:Ability to read and understand industrial pipe drawings and specificationsSAP experience Proficient in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Leadership, organizational, time management and facilitation skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsMaterial and labor estimatingAbility to work autonomously in the field with little supervisionDuties and Responsibilities:Plans the mechanical and piping maintenance/TAR work for operating facilityProvides effective job plans to accomplish work completion in an efficient and effective manner, including material & tool requirements labor estimates, and work instructionsPlans mechanical maintenance work with special attention paid to all control of work and regulatory requirements that may apply.Identifies the need for outside Contractors and associated scope of work Reviews submitted work orders for completeness and accuracy communicating with Operations & Maintenance Coordinators as neededDevelops and insures the accuracy of Bill of Materials making edits and additions as needed in SAP Identifies part discrepancies, additional work needed, work task edits, reoccurring problems in area of responsibility through review of completed work orders in order to improve future job packagesAssist scheduler with identification of work order simultaneous operations, coordination constraints, and sequencing.Overall Expectations:Total commitment to safety. Knowledgeable in all Safety protocol.Demonstrate knowledge of the workflow process and an understanding of the planner role within the workflow.Ability to accurately plan jobs including materials and labor estimates.Demonstrate proficiency with SAP and the ability to meet responsibilities,Ability to work with others in a teamwork environment.
