Job Title: Maintenance Tech IIReports To: Facility SuperintendentJob Type: Full-timeJob Overview:We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Foreman responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure at a data center facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in carpentry and electrical workKey Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance activities while ensuring safety compliance, managing continuance improvement orders, and maintaining facility records.Perform regular and routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the facility including electrical and other infrastructure.Coordinate and assist in repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to carpentry, electrical, and other physical assets of the facility.Ensure that all electrical systems and equipment are functioning safely and in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.Assist in managing the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements when necessary.Work alongside other subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure all work is completed to specification and on schedule.Monitor and support the building's safety protocols, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements for the property.Respond to emergency repair requests, ensuring minimal downtime or disruption to the facility.Assist with facilities-related documentation, such as maintenance logs and work orders.Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders ensuring the facility operates efficiently and effectively with minimal disruption.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and coordinate with other contractors, ensuring the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained and that work is completed on time and within budget.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in carpentry, electrical, or related fields is a plus.1+ years of experience in a hands-on maintenance or facilities role preferred but not required.Basic understanding of electrical systems, building maintenance, and carpentry and ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Valid driver's license required.Valid forklift certification and experience in maintenance, repair, and operation of forklifts preferred.Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly assess situations and take appropriate action.Working Conditions:Work is performed primarily in a data center environment, with some outdoor and maintenance areas.This role requires the ability to work with various tools and equipment, and candidates must be comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.Occasional lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy materials and equipment.
