Job Title: Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in operating and managing CNC Machining Centers. Your expertise will ensure our high-quality standards are met efficiently. Responsibilities Interpret complicated drawings and blueprints accurately. Set up and run CNC Machining Centers while ensuring efficiency and quality standards. Prove out, de-bug, and provide feedback on CNC programs. Incorporate expert knowledge of materials to determine efficient speeds and feeds. Possess expert tooling knowledge to complete jobs in a timely manner. Work independently with minimal supervision and direction. Be self-motivated and capable of working overtime as required. Essential Skills Minimum 3+ years of experience as a CNC Set-Up Machinist. Proficiency with Mazak or Fanuc equipment. Ability to interpret, edit, and program G-code efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical school diploma plus 2 years of experience, or 5 years of CNC experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an 80-person, privately-held machine shop specializing in both lathe and mill operations. Be prepared for a non-temperature-controlled environment and open to working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including 8-10 hour shifts with weekend availability as needed for projects. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Northampton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr. Health and dental.
