Job Title: Mixing Department Operator Job Description Join our team in the mixing department where you will play a crucial role in producing adhesive products for construction sites. You will be responsible for mixing powder products, ensuring the quality and consistency needed for our clients. Responsibilities Cut open bags of powder and load them into machines. Consistently lift bags weighing over 50 pounds, with assistance to waist height provided by automated systems. Load bags into a hopper machine for mixing. Monitor and maintain appropriate powder levels. Adhere to proper PPE protocols, including wearing a provided uniform and respirator. Essential Skills Experience in production and mixing environments. Familiarity with batching and compounding processes. Ability to blend and handle general production tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Maintain a positive attitude. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing setting within a mixing room. The environment is very dusty and not glamorous, but safety is a priority with all necessary PPE provided, including uniforms and respirators. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mattawan, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
