Primary Responsibilities:This role is part of a dedicated strategic team that supports complex employer groups within Local Markets, generally within a geographic regionConsultants will create compelling, client-specific insights and content for a variety of client engagementsConsultants will present a portion of client engagements as determined by the Strategist based on client needs (internal/external), resource availability and development opportunityConsultant will focus on insights and storytelling. Distillation of compelling and/or actionable insights from data and reporting is requiredNavigation of data, tools, and related resources will be necessary for success in telling a story with actionable insightDistillation of compelling and/or actionable insights from data and reporting is requiredConsultants will focus on insights and storytellingIn-depth knowledge of adopted and proposed client solutionsCollaborate with market strategic team members as neededProvide colleague feedback to all participants in the market strategic team to support leadership goals around talent assessment, career planning, and growth opportunitiesWill have no direct reportsCollaborate with the broader Account Management Team (AMTs) and other internal business partners to solve complex customer analytic needs and serve as a strategic analytic subject matter expertCommunicates information openly and in an articulate and professional manner as a strategic consultative subject matter expertYou"ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor"s degree2+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably within a sales, account management, TPA, or consulting environmentKnowledgeable of healthcare cost and quality topics, as well as able to speak to emerging industry trendsIntermediate or higher skills within Office 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated presentation skills, preferably with a director-level and higher audienceDriver's license and access to reliable transportationTravel may be required up to 25% of the time depending on customer needsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in data analytics, data science, statistics or underwriting Clear and concise written & verbal communication skills; successful virtual presentation experienceAll employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group"s Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment.
