Job Description

EMA Puget Sound, a physician-founded and owned private practice, is recruiting two full-time Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physicians (including Pain Medicine or Sports & Spine subspecialties). This well-established single-specialty PM&R group is based in Tacoma, Washington, and offers a supportive, collegial environment with long-term partnership potential. Position Highlights: Outpatient practice, no inpatient or hospital call Monday-Friday schedule (flexible Mon-Thurs option) Join a team of 7 physicians and 1 APP Advanced in-office technology: Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, EMG, PRP Typical patient panel: 60-100 per week Call shared only once every 6-8 weeks Compensation & Benefits: Competitive production-based earnings (confidential during recruitment process) Full benefits package including medical, retirement, and malpractice CME allowance: $3,000-$5,000 annually Vacation: 3-4 weeks plus holidays License and DEA reimbursement provided Partnership track with flexible buy-in Candidate Requirements: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation training required Pain Medicine or Sports & Spine subspecialty welcome New graduates (2026) and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply Location: Tacoma, Washington Nestled between Seattle and Olympia, Tacoma offers waterfront living, access to the Cascade Mountains, and a vibrant arts and cultural scene.
