Job Purpose The Project Specialist role is to identify, introduce, develop and nurture business relationships with Major Project owners, Construction Management, General Contractors and all subcontractors on assigned Major Project. The Project Specialist's goal is to generate and maximize revenue from the project by leveraging Herc Sales Teams and from on-site efforts. What you will do Integral partner with Customer (s), Herc + Major Project Sales Teams, Strategic Account Reps supporting the project and the Operations Sales and Support Team in the planning and execution of the project after winning the opportunityDevelop a comprehensive networking list of all named and unnamed contractors working on site by leveraging Herc Sales teams, project data bases and project networkingProject based customer management and revenue growth through proactive advanced sales activities for contractors and subcontracts prior to work starts Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals All planning and sales activities are recorded in SuccessFactors ProFolio Identify customer's needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricingMaster and cross sell all Herc Product lines and services including but not limited to Classic, ProSolutions, ProTruck, COEs, ProResources, Safety Solutions, and rental related ancillaries Support on and off project branches and all team members Requirements BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or businessadministration preferred.Proven track record with 3 years of outside sales experience within the heavy equipmentand/or construction markets preferred Skills Ability to drive/operate multiple types of vehicles and equipmentAbility to engage in natural verbal interaction with customersAbility to follow up with customers in a timely mannerAble to walk into unfamiliar environments and adjust rapidly to the settingAttention to detailCustomer service focusedMulti-tasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goalsMust react to changing business needsSolid and proven computer skill set (knowledge of MS Office is preferred)Works and communicates effectively with all levels of the companyReq #: 64625 Pay Range: Base Salary + Commission Guarantee with no commission/bonus cap! $75k - $85k+ anticipated 1st year Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
