Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEmployment Attorney A Southern California litigation boutique is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join its El Segundo office. The firm represents a range of clients including executives, closely held businesses, and professionals in employment-related litigation and advisory matters. The practice includes wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and counseling on employment policies, contracts, and compliance. Offer:$215,000 - $275,000 annual base salary depending on experienceDiscretionary performance-based bonus structureComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k), paid CLE, bar dues, and malpractice insuranceOpportunities for hybrid work and professional development in a collaborative team setting Qualifications:Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active license to practice in California2+ years of experience handling employment litigation and counseling mattersStrong knowledge of California and federal employment laws, including FEHA, FLSA, CFRA, and PAGALitigation experience including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and participating in mediations or hearingsExceptional legal research, writing, and communication skillsComfortable advising clients on workplace investigations, terminations, policies, and compliance strategies Responsibilities:Represent clients in employment-related litigation involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, and breach of contractDraft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery responsesConduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., DFEH, DLSE, EEOC)Advise employers and executives on employment agreements, handbooks, and regulatory complianceCollaborate with internal teams on case strategy, risk assessment, and client communicationSupport business development efforts through client service and legal excellence - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
